About

Field-Proven Delivery
in Remote Environments

Core business

Solmar Contracting delivers maintenance, upgrades and infrastructure works across remote locations throughout Australia.

Our core business includes Aids to Navigation (AtoN), radome assembly, remote monitoring systems, and remote infrastructure.

We deliver government and infrastructure projects as both a primary contractor and specialist delivery partner, supporting ongoing maintenance programs, multi-site contracts and one-off project works.

Operations are coordinated across multiple concurrent work programs, with delivery supported by capabilities in practical logistics, project management and technical know-how.

On-site Leadership Experience

Solmar is led by Managing Director, Dale Meehan, with over 20 years’ experience in maritime and solar energy infrastructure and government contract delivery.

Dale has delivered AtoN maintenance programs, radar installations and remote infrastructure projects across Australia, with direct responsibility for planning, logistics and on-site execution.

Solmar’s leadership remains involved in planning and delivery, ensuring operational decisions are informed by real field conditions and practical site experience.

"We stay close to the work. That’s how decisions get made properly."

Operational Capability

Solmar maintains access to the equipment and operational facilities required to deliver work across remote sites.

This includes vessels, helicopters, specialised height-access equipment, established supplier and logistics networks, and secure storage facilities.

Operations are supported from our headquarters and asset facility in Victoria (under establishment), with a base in Tasmania to support regional delivery (also under establishment).

Our flexible delivery model enables us to efficiently scale assets to meet the demands of multiple sites and work programs.
